Mileage depends on vehicle it is in, but high teens, and low 20’s are possible
The 6.5L “oil burner” as we used to call them has a horsepower rating of 195 HP. Depending on what you do with the truck, empty you could see into the high teens. If you’re working the engine, expect anything from 12 to 16.
Around 190-200 hp. 12-18 mpg
It’s not really that bad of a engine
it’s just not set up to pull like the new diesels of today
I know of at least two that are well maintained and have
close to 300,000 miles on them without a rebuild
depends on application 10 - 18 mpg’s
but a gas burner in same application 6-12
